Job summary

Motorola Solutions, a global leader in mission-critical technology, seeks a Sr Software Engineer to set technical direction for the AI Agent Platform behind Hyper's emergency response products. You will own the architecture of real-time voice AI pipelines, telephony, and backend infrastructure, influencing long-term technical strategy.

You'll mentor engineers, drive reliability, security, and performance, and partner with product, design, and operations to translate ambiguous customer problems

Responsibilities

Lead the design and operation of real-time voice AI systems at scale.
Address hardest problems: low-latency audio, streaming, telephony, LLM orchestration, human-in-the-loop workflows.
Drive reliability, security, and performance standards across the stack.
Mentor engineers and provide design feedback to raise the team's bar.
Lead incident response and post-incident reviews for critical systems.
Represent engineering in conversations with customers and stakeholders.
