Merkle is seeking a Sr. Director, Lead Strategist to guide strategic advisory and transformation initiatives for enterprise accounts. You will operate at the executive level, driving value realization and organizational capability across delivery pods and client teams.

The role demands deep experience in organizational transformation, change management, and marketing technology, with a focus on AI-enabled experiences and program governance. Remote-friendly in the continental US.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of consulting experience in business transformation, organizational change leadership, and/or integrated marketing strategy.
• 10+ years working in a top tier consulting firm and/or marketing agency.
• Strong experience in executive-level client management and strategic storytelling.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation programs and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements assessing organizational readiness, operating model design, and change management for large-scale transformations.
• Provide governance and strategic coverage across delivery pods and client programs.
• Translate strategic priorities into activation sequences and value realization.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions with stakeholders to align on priorities.
• Surface operational risks related to technology implementation and adoption initiatives.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with client senior executives.
