Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Agriculture Business Banking Relationship Manager to serve as the primary advisor and relationship owner for agricultural clients, developing new business and delivering tailored financial solutions.

You will coordinate across the bank to provide lending, treasury, payments, deposits, and wealth services while maintaining client ownership and growing the agricultural portfolio in local markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Seven+ years of experience in relationship banking, business banking, commercial banking, agricultural lending, or related financial services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and grow a portfolio of agricultural business clients by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
• Serve as a trusted advisor by providing strategic financial guidance and customized solutions for agricultural producers and agribusinesses.
• Analyze client financial performance including cash flow, profitability, credit quality, and risk exposure, and recommend banking, lending, treasury, payments, deposit, and wealth solutions.
• Partner with credit underwriting, portfolio management, treasury management, and other internal teams to structure solutions and manage risk.
• Maintain ownership of the client relationship by coordinating resources across the bank and connecting clients with specialists when appropriate.
• Demonstrate expertise in agricultural lending, credit analysis, and industry trends affecting agriculture.
• Build relationships with centers of influence and industry groups to expand business opportunities and the bank's local presence.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and risk management standards.
