Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking an Agile - Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join a large Air Dominance Division Mission Systems Software team in Berkeley, MO. The role leads and coaches agile teams, scales Lean-Agile practices, and drives value delivery across multiple stakeholders using Jira and Confluence.

Responsibilities include facilitating quarterly planning, managing backlogs, dependency mapping, risk escalation, and relentless improvement.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies.
1+ year of experience in a leadership role.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (citizenship required).
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is preferred.

Responsibilities

Coaches leaders and teams in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets.
Drives relentless improvement and assesses the organization’s agility.
Fosters preparation of Vision, Objectives and Program Backlogs.
Ensures backlogs are managed to defined standards.
Tracks execution of features and capabilities.
Facilitates roadmap development.
Supports inter- and intra-team dependency mapping.
Prepares for and facilitates quarterly planning and execution of the plan.
Encourages cross-functional collaboration across the organization.
Works with Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and other stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution alignment.
Helps manage risks and dependencies.
Escalates and tracks impediments.
Ensures standards are established and followed.
Monitors and improves metrics to optimize value flow.
