Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Boulder, CO is seeking an Agile Leader/Release Train Engineer (RTE)/Staff Systems Engineer Level 5 to develop and sustain complex systems. The role is on-site and requires a Secret clearance, with responsibilities across agile transformation and program increments for two AP programs.

The candidate will drive continuous improvement, manage Jira/Confluence templates, and coordinate multiple teams to optimize value delivery within an advanced space systems environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 12 years of related experience, or Master’s with 10 years, or PhD with 8 years.
• Excellent technical writing skills for analyses and reports.
• Experience leading Agile teams and hands-on Jira experience.
• MS Office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
• Current active in-scope U.S. Government Secret clearance at start.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Agile practices for two AP programs.
• Plan and lead program increments for two AP programs.
• Manage workflows within and between teams using Jira Scrum/Kanban.
• Ensure Jira maps SOW tasks to Epics/stories at PI boundaries.
• Increase throughput by removing bottlenecks and dependencies.
• Lead formal PI planning and backlog review events with Gov. customers.
• Coordinate multiple agile teams to align with agile practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Create and manage Epics, features, and milestones with stakeholders.
