Job summary

Barclays Services LLC in Whippany, NJ seeks a Delivery Team Lead - AVP to lead large-scale agile delivery across multiple teams. You will mentor teams on Scrum, SAFe, and Lean-Agile practices, facilitate ceremonies, and manage impediments, risks, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

You will work with Product Owners to refine backlogs, plan sprints, and coordinate PI events, while ensuring accurate Jira reporting and transparent progress across the ART.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and workshops.
• Strong understanding of Scrum and SAFe principles.
• Ability to mentor junior team members on Agile practices.
• Proven track record removing blockers and risks in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and continuously improve Agile ceremonies, ensuring they are well-structured, time-boxed, and outcome-driven.
• Perform Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement, and PI events.
• Mentor junior team members on Agile, Lean, and SAFe practices.
• Identify, address and remove impediments to delivery, blockers, risks and dependencies.
• Escalate and coordinate with RTE and ART-level forums for inter-team impediments.
• Partner with Product Owner to optimize execution, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
• Enable PI Planning and Inspect & Adapt readiness and execution with measurable Objectives.
• Represent squad in Scrum of Scrums and other ART-level ceremonies with data-driven updates.
• Ensure Jira data quality across workflows, statuses, ownership and dates.
• Support Agile delivery for Oracle-based platforms and Ab Initio ETL data workloads.
