Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in an on-site NJ setting. You will coach teams, run Scrum ceremonies, and partner with Product Owners to refine backlogs, manage risks, and deliver value on time.

You will drive agile maturity, report progress to leadership, and foster collaboration across stakeholders while maintaining a healthy product backlog aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework.
• Experience in facilitating Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, and Retrospectives).
• Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, Trello).
• Strong Project Management experience with planning, execution, stakeholder management, and delivery governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a servant leader to one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
• Facilitate all Scrum events and support the Product Owner in backlog refinement.
• Remove impediments and help the team stay focused on delivering value.
• Manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure transparency on project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall delivery status through reporting.
• Foster continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable feedback loops.
• Work with Product Owners, Developers, Business Stakeholders, and Leadership to maintain a healthy backlog and align delivery with business objectives.
• Track and communicate team and project performance metrics.
