Job summary
Barclays seeks an AVP-Portfolio Planning & Execution in Wilmington, DE to lead strategic investment planning, intake management, and portfolio governance across a multi-portfolio technology and business landscape.
You will collaborate with business, technology, and finance partners to enable informed investment decisions and effective execution, applying Lean and SAFe practices with data-driven trade-offs.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lean Portfolio Management or SAFe environments.
- Ability to facilitate prioritization and governance.
- Strong communication, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Data-driven decision making with planning metrics.
- Ability to track portfolio demand and risks.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate portfolio prioritisation within the control framework.
- Support portfolio governance with data-driven decision making and executive reporting.
- Monitor portfolio performance and report to senior management.
- Manage the Book of Work, priorities and dependencies.
- Oversee change delivery and enforce robust controls.
- Review and escalate portfolio risks and issues.
- Engage stakeholders with clear, timely communication.
- Support delivery with data-led decisions and accountability.
- Provide best-practice governance and training across the portfolio.
