Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking an experienced Scrum Master/Project Manager for a contract role in Irving, TX. You will lead planning, execution, and delivery of strategic technology initiatives, coaching teams in Agile practices and ensuring projects stay on track.

You will manage timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies and stakeholders, while delivering business value with strong facilitation and reporting. Onsite, full-time contract with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years as Scrum Master, Project Manager, Agile PM, or Agile Program Manager.
Proven software development project experience in Agile environments.
Strong Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Jira/Confluence or equivalent tools.
Understanding of SDLC, release management, and software delivery.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement).
Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe and broader Agile practices.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, release plans.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, QA, Architecture, Operations, stakeholders.
Manage scope, risks, dependencies, impediments, changes; implement mitigations.
Provide leadership with transparent reporting on health, risks, KPIs, decisions.
Monitor velocity, burndown, release predictability, quality metrics, deployment readiness.
