Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Lead Agilist to coach Agile Squads, facilitate Scrum events, and guide Product Owners in backlog management and empirical decision-making. The role emphasizes servant leadership, removing impediments, and cross-team collaboration to improve delivery and value realization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time business experience.
• 3+ years of Scrum experience.
• Strong communication skills for presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating.
• Proven ability to remove impediments outside the team.
• Coaching skills to convey complex concepts.
• Conflict resolution and mediation capabilities.
• Proven ability to build trust and high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with SDLC disciplines supporting agility.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, TDD, and automated testing.
• Knowledge of Kanban, Scrumban, XP, and Mob programming.
• Ability to use empirical data and metrics to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coach Agile Squads on values, principles, and practices.
• Facilitate Scrum events and ensure value from all ceremonies.
• Guide Product Owners and Dev Teams in backlog clarity and outcomes.
• Promote self-organization, cross-functionality, and software craftsmanship.
• Identify and remove impediments; escalate when needed.
• Shield teams from external interference to maintain productivity.
• Foster a safe, trusting environment for open discussion.
• Use metrics and feedback for inspect-and-adapt improvements.
• Apply DevOps, pipeline automation, and testing knowledge to identify improvements.
• Collaborate with Agile Center to improve team effectiveness.
• Model servant leadership and support team growth.
• Ensure risk management aligned with policies.
