Eliassen Group is seeking a Lead Agilist for a remote, contract engagement. You will coach Agile Squads, promote Scrum practices, and guide Product Owners and teams in backlog management and empirical decision-making.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, removing impediments, and collaboration across the organization to improve delivery and value realization. Eligible W2 consultants receive medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time business experience.
• 3+ years of Scrum experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication with mentoring and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach Agile Squads on values, principles, and practices.
• Facilitate Scrum events and ensure value from Sprint activities.
• Guide Product Owners and Dev Teams in backlog clarity and outcomes.
• Promote self-organization, continuous improvement, and cross-functionality.
• Identify and remove impediments, escalating when needed.
• Shield teams from external interference to maintain productivity.
• Foster a safe, trusting environment for collaboration.
• Leverage metrics and feedback for inspect-and-adapt improvements.
• Apply DevOps, CI/CD, and testing practices to find improvements.
• Collaborate with the Agile Center to improve team effectiveness.
• Model servant leadership and support team growth.
• Ensure risk identification and reporting aligned with policies.
