Job summary

arrivia is seeking a Senior Agentic Software Engineer to drive the technical direction for AI-powered development across a full-stack product team. You will architect features, set standards, and lead MCP integrations while mentoring engineers and raising engineering maturity.

You will work on modernizing services, defining agentic workflows, and ensuring secure, scalable systems across cloud platforms. A product-minded, hands-on developer with AI tooling experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development and architectural experience.
• AI coding agents proficiency in professional workflows.
• Strong proficiency in two or more of TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js/Vue/Angular).
• Proven track record architecting cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of MCP and MCP server ecosystems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Track record of leading technical designs and mentoring engineers across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect the platform features and services for our travel platform as a technical leader.
• Drive agentic adoption by standardizing coding tools and workflows.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Modernize aging services through refactoring and cloud-native design.
• Define patterns and platforms for testing, documentation, code-review, and deployment checks.
• Design MCP integrations connecting AI agents to internal tools and services.
• Lead distributed system improvements across cloud platforms.
• Safeguard member data privacy and security with Risk and Security teams.
• Mentor engineers in AI-assisted development and prompt engineering.
