Job summary

Ethos Risk Services is actively seeking a senior AI software developer to architect AI-first systems. This remote role focuses on translating business needs into precise specifications and guiding AI-assisted development while ensuring secure, high-quality code.

You will review AI outputs, implement strong testing, mentor engineers, and help modernize the architecture with CI/CD pipelines in a dynamic remote-enabled team.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with hands-on spec-driven development experience.
• Experience with agentic AI tools and AI-integrated systems.
• Strong SQL experience, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Reviewing and validating AI-generated code is required.
• Experience on teams using AI-assisted workflows.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Spec-Driven Development: translate requirements into clear specs.
• AI Workflow Orchestration: oversee AI-generated software production.
• Code Review & Quality: ensure accuracy and security of AI code.
• Testing & Validation: verify outputs meet specifications.
• Prompt Engineering: refine prompts and AI workflows.
• Architecture & Modernization: support scalable system design.
• Risk & Security: mitigate risks in AI-generated code.
• CI/CD & Automation: contribute to validation gates.
• Mentorship & Support: guide engineers and provide production support.
• Documentation & Collaboration: maintain specs and collaborate with stakeholders.
