Job summary

HP is seeking an Agency Practice Strategy Lead to guide the execution of marketing agency programs, aligning with policy and driving top-tier collaboration with external partners. The role leads cross-functional teams, develops briefs, and manages agency rosters.

You will steer governance with procurement, partner with worldwide marketing, and mentor staff to deliver strategic initiatives and measurable results across campaigns for the HP brand.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Typically 12+ years of work experience in creative agency, agency management, social marketing, content marketing and data-led planning.
• Experience partnering with external agencies and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees execution of marketing agency practice strategies leveraging policies, standards, and direction.
• Project manages content creation with external agency partners and manages partner relationships on operational topics.
• Develops and manages project management processes and artefacts.
• Drives collaboration with cross-functional teams including worldwide marketing, regional partners and procurement.
• Oversees definition, writing, and testing of briefs and scope documents for consistent execution.
• Vets and updates agency rosters and assesses new vendors with procurement.
• Contributes innovative ideas and leads large cross-functional teams, exercising independent judgement to solve problems.
• Acts as a functional manager, developing strategy and setting policy and direction.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to lower-level employees to realize strategic plans.
