Job summary

Bigos Management, Inc. in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Compliance Specialist to audit and monitor recertification and leasing processes for Section 8 compliance. The role works with the Compliance Manager to deliver training and develop resources that promote audit-ready practices at the site level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Certified Occupancy Specialist Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive affordable, multi-family property management experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Project Based Section 8 Compliance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor recertification and leasing processes for compliance.
• Coordinate MORs and external compliance audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and communicate corrections to site staff.
• Provide training resources and staff development on compliance.
• Assist Compliance Manager with compliance newsletters and manual updates.
