Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Quality Technician III in Utah to support the Quality Engineering group with FAI submissions, inspections, NC material processing, and documentation of flight test activities. You will witness and document UAV flight acceptance, liaise with QE and engineering teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires background in aerospace quality systems, GD&T, and strong data/reporting skills, with the ability to travel to remote sites and work

Qualifications

• Proficient in GD&T per ANSI Y14.5.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong documentation and records management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process FAI and deliverable submissions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct selective inspection under QE direction and record results.
• Handle internal non-conforming material with proper NC processes.
• Support QEs with corrective actions, evaluations, and Six Sigma tools.
• Lead problem-solving activities and coordinate junior technicians.
