Job summary

AV is seeking a Quality Technician III to support the Quality Engineering group with FAI and Part Approval processes, NC material handling, and related administrative tasks. The role involves witnessing UAV flight test activity and ensuring detailed documentation and records are maintained.

The candidate will perform inspections, prepare inspection packages, and assist with audits. A strong background in aerospace quality systems and GD&T is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with FAI validation and NC processes.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to ANSI Y14.5.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Process inbound/outbound FAI submissions and maintain records.
• Verify material, document inspection results and communicate findings.
• Handle NC material and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Support QA engineers with corrective actions and DMAIC tools.
• Lead problem-solving sessions and coordinate QA technician activities.
• Assist in ITAR/compliance tasks and audits.
• Prepare final inspection documentation package (COC, TDRs).
