Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Advanced Project Engineer to lead engineering development projects across military aircraft systems, APUs, and propulsion technologies on a hybrid schedule.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, and technical requirements, and serve as the primary focal point for assigned programs, including interfacing with U.S. Government and aerospace customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical systems engineering, project engineering, or product development in Aerospace & Defense.
• Experience leading engineering projects with schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Experience with military aviation, aircraft systems or propulsion in aerospace.
• Knowledge of development processes, requirements mgmt, validation, and configuration mgmt.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects through full product lifecycle, including development, testing, qualification, production support and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, technical plans, milestones and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary engineering focal point for assigned projects.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to achieve objectives and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with requirements, contracts and internal processes.
