Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to support the Engines and Power Systems organization in the APU Project Engineering department. The role is based at the Phoenix site with a hybrid work schedule and involves supporting development and in-service APUs for USAF platforms.

You will lead complex projects, manage budgets >$500k, and ensure EVMS compliance while coordinating with OEMs and government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics).
• Minimum of 5 years of mechanical systems engineering experience; knowledge of gas turbine engine technology is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of Aerospace industry experience.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects with budgets > $500k.

Responsibilities

• Meet technical performance measures and project-specific process requirements.
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of the assigned engineering work scope.
• Manage requirements, control scope, and execute baseline change management.
• Execute projects within budget and on schedule.
• Communicate project health and status to stakeholders.
