Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Advanced Project Engineer – Propulsion Engines in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule. You will lead design, development, test, and in-service support for propulsion projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will report to the Sr. Program Engineering Manager and coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project scope, objectives, and deliverables, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years directly related engineering experience in design, development, manufacture, and/or test of gas turbine engines or similar complex systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, test and in-service support activity, on schedule and within budget, compliant with technical requirements.
• Serve as the single point engineering leader for the assigned scope and lead a diverse cross-functional team.
• Escalate effectively with leadership and across the organization while maintaining strong customer focus.
• Leverage technical experts to review team outputs, lead trade studies and RCCA activities, and communicate status to internal/external customers.
