Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to translate engineering intent into hardware ready for test and flight. You will drive producibility improvements, create instructions and routings, and support the build lifecycle from design release to production.

Strong CAD skills and GD&T knowledge are essential. You will work with cross-functional teams across design, test, and operations to deliver high-quality spaceflight hardware while focusing on safety, cost reduction, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree or technical trade school with 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with hardware manufacturing and aerospace related systems.
• Solid knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain design and configuration integrity of complex components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with design, test, operations, and customers on producibility.
• Develop and deploy work instructions, routings, and process improvements.
• Support assembly and acceptance testing on the manufacturing floor.
• Investigate root causes and implement preventative/corrective actions.
