Job summary

V2X Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Interconnect Engineer to lead the design, validation, and sustainment of electrical interconnects for military and civil platforms.

You will translate ICDs into robust interconnect architectures using Creo tools and Windchill, ensuring compliance to AS50881, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and MIL-STD-31000. Office-based role with limited travel, collaboration across electrical, mechanical, systems, and manufacturing teams, and responsibility for full TDP release

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field or 8+ years equivalent experience in interconnect/wiring design.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.
• 5+ years of professional engineering experience in interconnect or wiring design.

Responsibilities

• Execute cable and wire harness design tasks for aviation-focused military applications.
• Interpret ICDs and system requirements into interconnect architecture, pin mapping and routing.
• Create and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDPs) and ensure configuration control.
• Use Creo Schematics/Parametric to generate wiring diagrams, harness drawings and installation documents.
• Develop interconnect documentation to ASME Y14.100, Y14.24, Y14.5; ensure MIL-STD-31000 alignment.
• Coordinate with systems, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and program teams.
