Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks a hardware-focused engineer to design cables and wire harnesses for aviation-focused military applications.

You will translate ICDs and system requirements into interconnect architecture using Creo Schematics/Parametric and generate detailed wiring diagrams, harness drawings, and BOM-level tables. Collaborating with systems, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams, you will ensure designs meet fit, function, and MIL-STD requirements, while supporting document control in

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a STEM field, or 4+ years of equivalent wiring/harness design experience.
US Citizenship required due to clearance requirement.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Execute cable and wire harness design tasks for aviation-focused military applications with guidance.
Create wiring diagrams, interconnect schematics, harness drawings, and wire tables using Creo Schematics/Parametric.
Develop interconnect documentation per MIL-STD-31000, and ASME Y14.100/ Y14.24/ Y14.5 standards; manage via Windchill.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure fit, function and performance.
Support system build, test, and integration activities; communicate status, risks, and issues.
