Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Harness Design Engineer in Indianapolis to design, validate, and sustain electrical wiring interconnections for military and civil platforms.

You will translate ICDs into robust interconnect architectures using AS50881, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and CREO tools, contributing across the full product lifecycle. The role requires a BS in a STEM field or 4+ years of experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field or 4+ years of equivalent wiring/harness design experience.
• US Citizenship required due to clearance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate electrical wiring harnesses and interconnects per AS50881 and IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Develop Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using PTC CREO Schematics and CREO Parametric.
• Coordinate with systems, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and program teams to ensure fit, function and performance.
• Support system build, testing, and sustainment activities.
• Release documents using Windchill and manage configuration control.
