Eaton’s IS AER FMC Aerospace division in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Senior Sustaining Electrical Engineer to lead reliability improvements and support field and production issues. Reporting to Sustaining Engineering Manager, you will work on motor controllers, DC motors, circuit boards and actuators.

You will develop test plans, support obsolescence management, and collaborate across Supply Chain, Customer Service, and HPWT to reduce costs and improve product reliability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum two years of experience in electrical engineering role.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsabilidades

• Drive product improvements through engineering analysis, redesign and testing of electromechanical actuators and system hardware.
• Sustain product viability through evaluation and redesign of hardware with obsolete components.
• Develop test plans, specifications and test procedures for requalification activities.
• Coordinate requalification testing and evaluate results.
• Support supplier transfer initiatives and cross-functional cost-reduction efforts.
• Provide technical support to operations, procurement and customers.
