Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, South Carolina, seeks Experienced and Senior Customer Engineers to support the 787 Account Management team. You will serve as the primary technical contact for configuration definitions, translating customer requirements into Boeing priorities and coordinating with sales, contracts and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field with ABET accreditation.
• 5+ years' related work experience or equivalent combination.
• 5+ years’ of experience working for Boeing, airlines, aircraft lessors or heavy maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and communicate their priorities within Boeing.
• Represent Boeing to the customer as the primary technical contact for configuration definitions.
• Interact frequently with Sales, Marketing, Contracts and program leadership.
• Lead the configuration development, management and change processing through all lifecycle stages.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during delivery and document unresolved items.
• Interact with domestic and international customers and suppliers.
• Coordinate with diverse technical and business organizations within Boeing.
• Travel approximately 25% domestically and internationally as needed.
• May require off-hours, weekends or holidays to support milestones.
