Job summary

Boeing in North Charleston, SC seeks an experienced/senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for Tier 0-2 requirements on the 787 program. You will mentor teammates, foster collaboration across design teams, and ensure high-quality requirements across programs.

The role emphasizes systems engineering rigor, traceability, and compliance, with opportunities for growth and cross-functional teamwork within EngOps/ALIT. Onsite role with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• ABET accreditation preferred in the USA but not required.
• 5+ years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages 787 Tier 0-2 Requirements and change packages.
• Coaches Design Engineers on requirement changes with evidence and traceability.
• Tracks multiple work packages and reports risks and schedule impacts.
• Develops and maintains program process guidance for consistent systems engineering.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
