Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with focus in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials Sciences.
• Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience; Level 4: 9+ years preferred.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience and ability to travel domestically and internationally (10%).
• Experience with system, component, and detail design and verification.

Responsibilities

• Translate airplane level requirements to system and component requirements with validation methods.
• Lead system, component, and detail design efforts with documented specifications and drawings.
• Lead validation analysis and testing, plan creation, test rigs, results, and reports.
• Support system certification efforts with safety analyses and regulatory traceability.
• Provide production support to resolve build problems and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate across Boeing functions, suppliers, airlines, and regulators on technical issues.
