Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC seeks experienced Customer Engineers to serve as the primary technical interface for airline customers, defining cockpit configuration and coordinating with sales, contracts and program leadership.

This role involves leading configuration development across proposal to delivery, resolving technical issues, and traveling up to 25% to support customers worldwide. ABET-accredited engineering degree and 5+ years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or closely related field from ABET-accredited program.
• ABET accreditation required for considered education.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience working for Boeing, airlines, aircraft lessors and/or heavy maintenance organizations is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and communicate their priorities within Boeing.
• Represent Boeing to the customer as the primary technical contact for configuration definition.
• Interact with Sales, Marketing, Contracts and program leadership.
• Lead configuration development, management, and change processing across all development stages.
