Job summary

Arena Family of Companies in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a senior trade compliance professional to lead export/import transactions and enforce U.S. regulations across aerospace programs.

You will evaluate, approve, or halt activities to protect regulatory compliance while enabling business growth. In this role you will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain, travel internationally, and serve as the primary technical liaison between the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 2+ years of related experience.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Strong understanding of aerospace engineering fundamentals and metal forming processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical liaison between U.S. and international operations.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, production control, purchasing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and customer service activities supporting assigned programs.
• Establish project scope, schedules, milestones, and objectives while driving progress toward successful program completion.
• Review and adjudicate technical and program requirements to ensure compliance with contractual commitments.
• Support engineering design, manufacturing improvements, product upgrades, modifications, qualification testing, production transfers, and supply localization activities.
• Support the preparation, modification, and release of proposals, BOMs, drawings, specifications, procedures, reports, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot product issues, production constraints, field failures, and other technical challenges while coordinating corrective actions across departments.
• Provide engineering support to planning, tooling, quality assurance, engineering laboratories, and manufacturing teams.
• Participate in project review and planning meetings and identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce costs, and strengthen production workflows.
• Serve as a customer-facing technical resource during project planning and execution, including customer workshops and on-site support.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors and provide the technical documentation required to support assigned projects.
• Monitor project costs and communicate budget requirements, risks, and potential adjustments to leadership.
• Support Material Review Board activities and work with Quality Assurance to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Travel within the U.S. and internationally, including extended periods supporting international operations.
