Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC is seeking an Executive Advisor, Transformational Gifts to lead ultra-wealth donor engagement and strategic giving initiatives.

You will cultivate, solicit and steward $10M+ opportunities, aligning donor passions with organizational vision while working with executive leadership and relationship managers. Expect frequent travel and high-impact collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience closing/advising on 8- to 9-figure philanthropic gifts.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Coaching and facilitation skills; ability to lead with authentic leadership.
• Translate research initiatives and clinical innovations into donor-centered opportunities.
• Experience in matrixed environments and influencing without formal authority.
• Excellent emotional intelligence for high-trust conversations with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel nationally, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through qualification, cultivation, solicitation, closing and stewardship of 10M+ gifts.
• Partner with internal teams to design strategies for transformational gifts aligning with priorities.
• Provide strategic internal consulting to relationship managers across the organization.
• Collaborate with senior leaders on donor meetings, events and stewardship activities.
• Plan engagement opportunities for high-value volunteers to deepen mission connection.
• Co-create customized proposals reflecting donor vision and institutional priorities.
• Lead strategic initiatives and campaigns with cross-department collaboration.
