Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC seeks a Philanthropic Advisor to strategically cultivate and steward a portfolio of planned giving donors and prospects across a designated region.

You will build engagement plans, identify new gifts, and collaborate with internal teams to advance fundraising goals. The role requires 5+ years in fundraising, strong donor relationship skills, and the ability to travel 50–70% (evenings/weekends).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in fundraising, planned giving, or major gifts.
• Demonstrated success in donor cultivation and relationship management.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to travel 50–70% of the time, including evenings and weekends; occasional travel for conferences.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 500–1000 planned giving donors and prospects; provide interim support for staff vacancies.
• Develop personalized engagement and fundraising strategies aligned with donor values and goals.
• Conduct in-person donor cultivation, including visits, events, and outreach.
• Plan and host at least two Donor Appreciation Luncheons annually.
