Job summary

ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a Senior Advisor Area Development to manage a blended portfolio of leadership annual donors, corporate partners, and high-value volunteers in support of Southern California fundraising initiatives.

The role emphasizes strategic cultivation, stewardship, and moves management to maximize revenue, expand donor engagement, and advance the organization’s mission through collaboration across enterprise teams.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading high-revenue fundraising events, galas, golf tournaments, dinners, and volunteer-led initiatives.
• Strong communications skills to influence stakeholders and inspire donors and volunteers.
• Proven ability to build and steward leadership annual donors, corporate partners, and major donor prospects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-revenue fundraising events with strategic planning, sponsorship development, and volunteer engagement.
• Oversee multiple fundraising initiatives with meticulous attention to detail and deadline management.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward relationships with leadership donors, sponsors, and corporate partners to drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate across Development, Marketing, Data Strategy, Finance and other teams to align donor engagement with organizational goals.
• Provide training, direction, and resources to empower volunteers and leadership committees.
• Develop moves management strategies to deepen donor engagement and lifetime value.
• Represent ALSAC in interactions with donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders to advance fundraising goals.
