Job summary

ALSAC in Las Vegas seeks an Advisor - Area Development to drive revenue by managing volunteer and donor efforts, expanding partnerships, and delivering national programs like St. Jude Dream Home campaigns and Walks. You will recruit volunteers, sponsors, and community allies to maximize support for St.

Jude. The role requires fundraising, relationship building, and travel within the territory; strong communication and project management are essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of relevant fundraising, development, customer service, or sales experience.
• Demonstrated relationship management success in peer-to-peer fundraising.
• Ability to relate to donors and volunteers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• Proven project management ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Establish and activate national fundraising initiatives, recruit volunteers, sponsors, and community partners to maximize revenue.
• Attain and exceed financial and stewardship goals set by leadership.
• Build relationships with volunteers and donors through face-to-face interaction to recruit new partners.
• Provide support and resources to volunteers and donors through various communication channels.
• Create and implement marketing and recruitment plans for events to increase awareness and fundraising results.
• Grow high-value revenue-producing events ($250,000+) and manage related expenses.
• Prepare written correspondence and maintain records of event contacts and revenues.
• Represent St. Jude publicly to strengthen relationships and brand awareness.
