St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC is seeking an Advisor - Area Development to lead fundraising and donor engagement across a defined territory. You will manage relationships, plan and execute high‑impact events, and drive revenue growth while promoting St.

Jude’s mission through community collaboration. The role requires travel (15–20%), evenings and weekends during events, and a proven track record in donor stewardship and peer‑to‑peer campaigns.

Qualifications

• Five years of fundraising, development, customer service, or sales experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven relationship management success and peer‑to‑peer fundraising experience.
• Ability to relate to donors and volunteers from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed revenue goals by managing and expanding donor efforts across the area.
• Develop, manage, and grow high‑value fundraising events (galas, dinners, golf tournaments).
• Implement national fundraising initiatives (school programs, radiothons, multicultural events, peer‑to‑peer campaigns).
• Recruit, cultivate, and steward donors, volunteers, executives, and board‑level supporters.
• Lead multiple active event committees and collaborate to identify sponsors and donors.
• Develop and execute marketing, recruitment, and promotional plans for events.
