Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a manufacturing-focused engineer to enhance productivity and product quality across processes. The role emphasizes disposition of non-conforming materials, trend analysis, and cross-functional problem solving to reduce defects and improve first-pass yield.

Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or related fields.

Responsibilities

Review and disposition of non-conforming materials from internal and external sources.
Identify trends from disposition data and propose solutions to reduce defects and improve FPY.
Support root cause-corrective action investigations.
Evaluate moderately complex processes and conduct process analysis.
Solicit observations from operators to document manufacturing requirements and create work instructions.
Support NPI and define methods and sequences for manufacturing operations; ensure products meet customer quality requirements.
Understand area capacity and identify bottlenecks to improve throughput with engineering solutions.
Prepare product and process reports and present findings to team or customers.
