Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Senior Advanced (Finance) to optimize production workflows at the Torrance, CA site. You will lead manufacturing improvements, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality aerospace components.

You will report to the Engineering Director and mentor team members while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as STEM.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing and lean principles.
• Knowledge of machining, welding, brazing and assembly of aerospace components.
• Familiar with AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
• Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
• Experience with data analysis and SPC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes for quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
