ANSER in Arlington, VA seeks a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Analyst to support the IBAS program under the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy. The role involves researching, analyzing, and advising on global defense industrial base strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, while drafting acquisition documents and coordinating strategic communications.

Required: active Secret clearance (Top Secret possible), 10+ years in manufacturing/RDT&E, and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Active security clearance at least Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; Master’s plus 5+ years considered.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in industrial manufacturing or RDT&E.
• Experience facilitating a manufacturing production site or product lifecycle management/engineering.
• Direct hardware development or sustainment experience in U.S. Military Service, Major Command, OSW-level staff, or industry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical and strategic advisor to Government customer.
• Analyze advanced manufacturing and expeditionary repair proposals; provide data-driven recommendations.
• Evaluate project feasibility; identify funding sources and develop implementation strategies.
• Manage schedules, data, and coordination with mission partners; oversee cost, schedule, and performance for contractors.
• Represent Government interests in meetings; document minutes and action items.
• Draft briefings, official correspondence, and analytical products for internal/external taskings.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering

Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
