Job summary

ANSER seeks a Counter Unmanned Systems Industrial Base Analyst to support the IBAS program under the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy. You will provide technical and strategic guidance on investments, evaluate C-UAS capabilities, and deliver data-driven recommendations to strengthen the defense industrial base.

The role requires 8+ years in DoD acquisition or defense programs, a SECRET/TOP SECRET clearances, and strong briefing and writing skills.

Qualifications

Active SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Defense Studies, Military Science, Systems Engineering, or related field.
Minimum eight years in DoD acquisition, operations, or defense programs related to UAS/Counter-UAS.

Responsibilities

Lead kinetic Counter-UAS projects for Group 1–3 threats, including directed energy weapons and integrated air defense systems.
Analyze UAS threats, adversary tactics, and Counter-UAS technologies to identify capability gaps and priorities.
Evaluate proposals and advise on feasibility, funding, and industrial base impacts.
Support requirements, CONOPS, acquisition strategies, and capability development documentation.
Assess effectiveness and survivability of kinetic C-UAS systems through modeling, testing, and analysis.
