Job summary

ANSER seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Analyst to support the IBAS program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy. You will provide technical and strategic expertise to assess manufacturing initiatives, support investments, and deliver data‑driven recommendations to strengthen manufacturing capabilities and supply chain resilience.

Qualifications

Minimum of ten years of experience in industrial manufacturing or RDT&E; five years with a master’s degree in a related field.
Active SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET.
Direct experience supporting hardware development or sustainment within DoD or equivalent defense organization.
Demonstrated ability to write and present technical information and communicate with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical and strategic advisor to Government customers on advanced manufacturing initiatives.
Evaluate project proposals and provide data-driven recommendations on feasibility, funding strategies, and implementation approaches.
Assess manufacturing capabilities, industrial base risks, and supply chain challenges to support investment decisions.
Develop acquisition documents, analyses, briefings, and official correspondence for IBAS initiatives.
Monitor project execution, track cost, schedule, and performance, and oversee contractors.
