Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr Advanced AI Engineer to provide expert technical leadership in designing and developing AI algorithms, models, and systems. This role emphasizes driving technical excellence and shaping future AI initiatives within a high-performance aerospace setting.

You will work on a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix location with no relocation offered, collaborate with product managers and business leaders, and mentor AI engineers while advancing critical AI

Qualifications

• 6+ years leading AI projects and programs.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with Agentic AI and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with Cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock).
• Mastery in machine learning or related AI technology.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex AI solutions addressing business needs, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and processes.
• Work with product managers and leaders to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including planning, resources, and progress monitoring.
• Mentor AI engineers, fostering learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
