Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr Advanced AI Engineer to provide expert technical leadership in designing and developing AI algorithms, models, and systems. This role emphasizes driving technical excellence and shaping future AI initiatives within a high-performance aerospace setting.

You will work on a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix location with no relocation offered, collaborate with product managers and business leaders, and mentor AI engineers while advancing critical AI

Qualifications

• 6+ years leading AI projects and programs.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with Agentic AI and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with Cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock).

Job Description

As a Sr Advanced AI Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in the design and development of AI algorithms, models, and systems. You will be responsible for acting as the subject matter expert for technical AI projects and provide direction on exploring and implementing methodologies and best practices. In this role, you will impact critical AI initiatives and drive technical excellence within the organization. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of AI technology within a company known for its commitment to excellence.

You will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. NO relocation offered.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of complex AI solutions to address specific business needs, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and robustness


• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing systems and processes


• Work directly with product managers and business leaders to understand requirements and align AI initiatives with overall business objectives


• Lead the end-to-end AI development lifecycle, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring progress


• Provide mentorship and guidance to AI engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum 6 years of experience managing AI related technology projects.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.


• Experience with Agentic AI & Multi-Agent Systems


• Experience working with Cloud AI Platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock)


• Mastery expertise in machine learning or related artificially intelligent technology.


• Strong leadership and management skills.
