Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Advanced AI Software Engineer to design, deploy, and own AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities powering enterprise software. You will lead end-to-end AI solutions, from architecture through deployment, collaborating with multiple teams.

You will mentor engineers and help drive standards for scalable, secure AI systems on a hybrid schedule based in Phoenix, AZ, with onsite work during the initial 90 days.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hands-on AI/ML engineering in production.
• 4+ years with LLMs, Generative AI, embeddings and vector databases.
• 5+ years software engineering with Python and at least one other language.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy production AI/ML platforms.
• Lead AI workflows, tool calls, memory management, and integration.
• Drive CI/CD, observability, security, and performance optimization.
• Mentor engineers on AI/ML architecture and deployment.
