Job summary

Honeywell seeks a Lead Software AI Engineer to guide project teams in designing and delivering cutting-edge AI-enabled software for industrial environments. You will own architecture decisions, drive performance and reliability, and partner with data science, engineering, and business teams in a hybrid Phoenix, AZ setting.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and lead modernization of Control Transformer and Network/FTE products, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 6+ years in production AI/ML design, deployment, and operation.
• 6+ years of Python and distributed systems experience.
• 6+ years cloud-native deployment with Azure or AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/ML product opportunities and design scalable systems for industrial use.
• Set architecture standards and ensure cybersecurity, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate across engineering, data science, architecture, and business teams.
