OpenAI is seeking a senior leader in revenue accounting to own Ads-related accounting from assessment through operational execution. You will govern products, pricing, contracts, incentives, credits, and revenue presentation, partnering across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Sales.

The role requires deep ASC 606 expertise, 10+ years of experience, and a track record building scalable 0-to-1 processes. Hybrid work with relocation support is available in San Francisco or New York City.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting.
• Ability to independently set direction and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience with digital advertising and high‑volume transactions.
• Strong command of variable consideration and revenue presentation.
• Proven track record building scalable 0-to-1 accounting processes.
• Ability to translate technical conclusions into actionable requirements.

• Lead technical accounting assessments for Ads products and arrangements.
• Own and evolve Ads revenue accounting policies and operating guidance.
• Establish governance for new products, decisions, and launch approvals.
• Translate accounting conclusions into product, billing, data, and controls requirements.
• Own the operating cadence for incentive and makegood accounting, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Finance, Sales, Legal, Tax, Billing, and Accounting teams on launches and expansions.
• Prepare concise memos and audit-ready support aligned with auditors.
• Use data and automation to improve finance workflows with controls.
