Responsibilities

• Interact with patients, visitors, and staff while complying with UNC Health policies and HIPAA guidelines.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments, manage check-in/out, collect payments, balance cash drawer and ensure revenue cycle compliance.
• Verify demographics/insurance, run eligibility, scan documents, and obtain necessary signatures.
• Perform complex scheduling and coordinate linked appointments as needed.
• Handle incoming calls and messages; participate in meetings and manage multiple work queues.
• Train others, coordinate projects, and arrange interpreter services or patient transport.
