Responsibilities

  • Facilitate efficient operation of the department in coordination with the department manager
  • Organize and manage the routine work activities in the department
  • Prepare correspondence, forms, reports, etc., for the department head and staff using a computer
  • Assist in compiling information for preparing various reports for the department
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies for the department
  • Receive calls, take messages, and route to staff
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and documents to staff
  • Maintain departmental files, including financial and contractual files
  • Maintain a schedule of appointments and make travel arrangements
  • Maintain conference room calendar
  • Maintain confidentiality of information
  • Perform routine bookkeeping tasks including basic math
  • Follow Plano ISD rules and directives from supervisor
  • Follow attendance policy as assigned
  • Perform other functions as assigned by Administration/supervisor
