Job summary

Divergent is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Equipment Engineer II to advance L-PBF production equipment from qualification to sustained manufacturing. You will work at the intersection of equipment engineering, manufacturing, quality, reliability, and operations to solve complex problems and improve standard work with input from senior engineers.

You will collaborate with controls, software, mechanical, electrical, and systems engineers to resolve technical challenges and contribute to cost

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshootingskills across mechanical, electrical, and/or controls systems.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Take technical responsibility for assigned production L-PBF equipment following Operational Qualification (OQ).
• Track performance against established baselines and improve machine capability across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Execute standardized equipment configurations and flag deviations between machines and factories.
• Contribute to engineering standards supporting future factory deployments.
