Divergent is seeking a Staff Systems Reliability Engineer to lead complex reliability challenges across the additive manufacturing fleet. You will drive escalations from detection through root cause, engineering solution, and validated closure, ensuring durable improvements across product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics/manufacturing/systems engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in machine development or reliability engineering.
• Experience leading complex root cause investigations and corrective actions on electromechanical or automated equipment.
• Experience across mechanical, electrical, controls, software, manufacturing or process engineering.
• Ability to interpret machine data and translate findings into actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability issue intake, triage, and prioritization across the fleet.
• Coordinate with SMEs across hardware, automation, materials, software, and supplier quality.
• Drive issues from identification to actionable investigation and RCCAs.
• Develop engineering solutions and validate corrective actions.
• Inform future product design with reliability learnings.
• Lead cross-functional teams and communicate risks to leadership.
• Improve metrics and processes to manage reliability issues.
