Exponent seeks a Senior Managing Engineer with ADAS/AVs expertise to join our Vehicle Engineering Practice in multiple U.S. locations, including Farmington Hills, MI. You will lead and execute consulting projects involving ADAS and automated vehicle testing, regulatory work, and system performance analysis.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in the automotive field, strong leadership, and a proven ability to grow business while mentoring junior staff. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of work experience in ADAS, AVs, and/or vehicle safety.
• Strong ability to develop and manage client relationships.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills for junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Managing projects from initiation to completion and communicating progress.
• Developing and growing the Vehicle Engineering Practice by securing new work.
• Leading client relationships and project cost management.
• Setting up and executing vehicle tests and system evaluations.
• Mentoring junior staff and expanding automotive expertise.
